Το Γραφείο Επιτρόπου Επικοινωνιών – Αρχή Ψηφιακής Ασφάλειας (ΑΨΑ), σε συνεργασία με το Ευρωπαϊκό Κολλέγιο Ασφάλειας και Άμυνας (European Security and Defence College – ESDC), διοργάνωσε πρόσφατα το εκπαιδευτικό πρόγραμμα «Maritime Cybersecurity». Η εκπαίδευση πραγματοποιήθηκε στην Ακαδημία ICT – Γραφεία Επιτρόπου Επικοινωνιών.
Υπήρχαν 27 συμμετοχές από 7 Ευρωπαϊκές χώρες, προερχόμενες από πολιτικό και στρατιωτικό προσωπικό των κρατών-μελών της ΕΕ, των θεσμικών οργάνων και των οργανισμών της ΕΕ. Το σεμινάριο προσέφερε σφαιρική κατανόηση του τοπίου κυβερνοασφάλειας στη ναυτιλία, με έμφαση στο ευρωπαϊκό πλαίσιο. Καλύφθηκαν κρίσιμα θέματα όπως:
▪️Κανονισμοί και οδηγίες που επηρεάζουν τον ναυτιλιακό τομέα.
▪️Σημασία των ελέγχων (regulated audits) για την ασφάλεια πληροφοριών
▪️Προσομοιώσεις πραγματικών περιστατικών σε cyber range πλατφόρμα, δείχνοντας πόσο εύκολα μπορεί να παραβιαστεί η διαδικασία πλοήγησης και πώς να αμυνθούμε αποτελεσματικά.

The Office of the Commissioner of Communications – Digital Security Authority (DSA), in collaboration with the European Security and Defence College (ESDC), organized recently the “Maritime Cybersecurity” training course. The course took place at the ICT Academy – Office of the Commissioner of Communications.
There were 27 participants from 7 European countries, including both civilian and military personnel from EU Member States, as well as representatives from EU institutions and agencies. The seminar provided a comprehensive understanding of the cybersecurity landscape in the maritime sector, with a focus on the European framework.
It covered critical topics such as:
▪️Regulations and guidelines affecting the maritime domain.
▪️The importance of regulated audits for security.
▪️Simulations of real incident cases on a cyber range platform, demonstrating how easily the navigation process can be compromised and how to defend effectively.
